Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with a strong passion for building robust, secure applications in the defense sector. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of software systems that power critical defense operations. You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including engineers, security specialists, and project managers, to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet stringent security and compliance requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Architect, develop, and deploy secure software applications in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

• Collaboration: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to define, design, and implement new features and improvements.

• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while ensuring adherence to industry security standards.

• Mentorship: Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to team members through peer programming and mentoring.

• Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve complex software issues to ensure optimal performance.

• Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in defense and cybersecurity.

• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation to support development and compliance processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. If you don't hold a formal degree, we welcome exceptional candidates who have demonstrated equivalent practical skills.

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in the defense, aerospace, or hi-tech sectors.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, or C#).

• In-depth understanding of software development methodologies and security best practices.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development frameworks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Experience with defense-specific software development standards and security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one) is a plus.
