R&D
Aityr AB conducts advanced R&D with a focus on autonomous drone systems. Our work spans software engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), robotics, electronics, and software-defined radio (SDR). A key part of our development involves sensor fusion and SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) technologies to enable intelligent, fully autonomous navigation.

Our systems are designed to integrate with both military and civilian command-and-control infrastructures (TAK/C2), providing robust, real-time operational control and decision-support capabilities. In addition to internal R&D, Aityr also executes external research contracts in collaboration with industrial and academic partners, strengthening our technological foundation and innovation capacity.
R&D focus areas
Software engineering for autonomous and mission-critical applications.
AI/ML and robotics for perception, control, and autonomy.
Electronics and SDR-based communication and signal systems.
Multi-sensor fusion and SLAM navigation technologies.
Full interoperability with TAK/C2 mission command infrastructures
