Job Description

We are seeking an experienced software developer with a strong background in the hi-tech sector. As this is a team-based development, we expect our employees to work from our premise in central Stockholm to a large extent.

 

Key experience
Java and Docker

• Packaging: Docker is used to create an image that contains a compiled Java-application, a run environment (JVM) and necessary dependencies.

• Package one, Deploy Anywhere: This uses the benefits of Javas “Write Once, Run Anywhere” principle and enables a coherent environment for development, testing and production.

• Simplified distribution: Docker simplifies the process to put Java applications into production, including to scale and manage them as a part of a larger system architecture.

Network and Docker

• Network types: Knowledge with different kinds of networks to isolate or connect containers.

• Port mapping: Knowledge of mapping ports to enable external users to communicate with applications inside the container.

• Micro services and orchestration: Knowledge of containers (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) that can handle complex systems.
   

Rols and competences:

• DevOps orientation: Knowledge of containers (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) that can handle complex systems.

• Cloud platforms: Experience of working with cloud services such as AWS, Azure or Google cloud.

• Full stack competence: Java development with Docker, Kubernets and frontend technologies.

​Other:

• Location: The applicant must be a Swedish citizen, living in Stockholm and fluent in Swedish.

• Security clearance: The applicant must be able to pass a security clearance
